In order to earn the summer incentive award, students must blog at least 15 times throughout the summer with postings in at least 2 of the 3 months: June, July, and August. The entries must be at least 5 sentences long, written in complete sentences, and follow capitalization and punctuation rules.
To post a comment, click on the title of a post to view the comment box. Once the entry is typed, choose Name/URL from the "Comment As" drop down menu. Type your first name and last initial, then click continue, leaving URL blank. You will be prompted to type a series of numbers and letters. Once that is complete, your blog entry will be emailed to me. I will approve it for posting and it will appear the next day.
Students may respond to the same question more than once.

When I opened the door that was finally unlocked I saw lots of stuff. It was full of gold. When I opened another door I saw lots of of cakes, cookies and candies. I also saw an underground space that was stored with books, all types of books and a desk and computer. I was rich. It was amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhen I walk in the door, I saw my house. I said, "that’s a little creepy." I walked upstairs and I saw my bed. When I went to the next room I saw our Ping-Pong table. I went back down stairs to the backyard and I saw my playground and dogs. When I went to the pantry I saw all the things that were in my pantry. The living room had all my furniture in it. It looked exactly like my house and I was getting kind of freaked out.
ReplyDeleteJust then a woman who looks exactly like my sister walked in and said “ what are you doing in my house, girl.”
“I,I,I,I saw that your door was unlocked so I was curious and came in. This looks exactly like my house but with a different address.”
Then woman said “ you caught me, I look inside peoples houses each month and buy all the same furniture as them. “
I said “ I knew I saw someone outside my window.”
I ran back to my house and I never opened an unlocked door without an adult ever again.
When I saw the door unlocked I opened the door, I saw a portal. So,I looked around went into the portal. When I opened my eyes, I saw a castle. It looked very familiar. It was Cinderella's castle! so I ran up to the front door and knocked. Then, I saw Cinderella and she invited me in for tea and then we lived happily ever after. THE END!
ReplyDeleteThere is a closet door in my house that is always locked. I was passing by it one day and the closet door was opened. I went inside to look at it, and there was a chute. I peered down the chute but accidentally fell in. It didn't go very far. It led to a beautiful garden. A girl about my age was in the garden. She asked me how I got here and I told her my story. Then the girl gave me a glass of water with mint in it and we sat down on a patch soft grass. She told me her name. It was Hannah. I asked Hannah how to get out so she showed me a door. We made plans to meet each other tomorrow. Hannah gave me a key and I left.
ReplyDeleteWhen I opened the door I saw a huge statue. The statue was shaped like a spider as I walked up to the "statue" I saw its eye move then I touched it and it ran to me! I got so scared I did not know what to do. I just stood there frozen, until it stopped. After it stopped I fell through the floor and landed on my bed.
ReplyDeleteOne day, I opened an unlocked door to an old abandoned warehouse. Inside there was a chest covered in dust. I opened the chest and found a ton of gold coins! On each coin there was a picture of a pirate. Then, I said to myself, "how did these get here and where did they come from?" Then a parrot flew in through the window, landed on my shoulder and said, "Polly want a cracker?" All of a sudden I heard a knock at the door. I got really scared so I jumped inside the chest. Then I heard the door open and I open the chest to peek out and I found kids dressed in costumes singing trick or treat.
ReplyDeleteOne day I went into the door. It was really cold. Then I saw some snow! And then I saw a fairy. She took me to her house so I could warm up. Then we had a great time.
