In order to earn the summer incentive award, students must blog at least 15 times throughout the summer with postings in at least 2 of the 3 months: June, July, and August. The entries must be at least 5 sentences long, written in complete sentences, and follow capitalization and punctuation rules.
To post a comment, click on the title of a post to view the comment box. Once the entry is typed, choose Name/URL from the "Comment As" drop down menu. Type your first name and last initial, then click continue, leaving URL blank. You will be prompted to type a series of numbers and letters. Once that is complete, your blog entry will be emailed to me. I will approve it for posting and it will appear the next day.
Students may respond to the same question more than once.

Today was so fun! In the morning I went to piano camp, we played music bingo, then decorated a cake with Kit Kats that were supposed to be the black keys on a piano. When I got home we went to my neighbors house to watch the Spurs game. At the party we hung out outside. We rescued a singing Elmo balloon out of our neighbor's tree. The balloon had been there since earlier that day, someone noticed it, so we went on a rescue mission. Ivan decided to jump up and try to grab the balloon to rescue it. On the second try he grabbed it and the balloon was saved. The balloon was so thankful it sang Happy Birthday, and Ivan did a happy dance.
ReplyDeleteToday was my first day back from my vacation to California. In the morning I went to my brother's cross country practice and ran one mile. After we got home we ate breakfast. Then my mom had to go mow the lawn at my dad's office. After we got home we went swimming. We tried to push my mom out of her tube into the water and then we played Marco Polo.
ReplyDeleteI went to a track meet on Thursday.We had to go to Round Rock,Texas.I wanted to run three things,but I could not run the 50 meter because I was to old.I also wanted to run the 4 x 100 but we did not have enough people,but then I got to run the 100 meter I came in third place I think. Then we went to a restaurant called Texasdelphia it was good and that is what I did on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteToday I got a haircut at William Edge. It was my first haircut at a salon. I was so excited to get a bob! First, Hilda, the lady who cut my hair, cut it dry. Then, she went to wash my hair. She wrapped my hair in a towel and brought me back out to cut my hair. Hilda massaged my head before she cut it. She clipped up my hair into sections and started to snip. When she was done, it was straight, short, and cute! I loved my haircut so much! It was the best haircut ever!
ReplyDeleteYesterday, I went to the ski lodge. My friend has a membership there, and they invited us and a couple of other families. We were the first ones there but then everyone else came. First I jumped off the diving board and then I played with my friend's little sister. Her name is Olivia, but we call her Olive. She is three and a half. After that I played with my friends Samantha and Whitley. We swam around and did tricks. They are new in town and will be going to Seele next year. Finally it was time to go. I told them thank you and we left.
ReplyDeleteYesterday,I went to golf camp, at golf camp we had a pizza party. After golf camp I went to work with my mom and dad. Then we came home and my mom went on a trip. When she left we had dinner and went bowling. After we got home we watched tv then wen to bed.
ReplyDeleteToday I went to stamping with my grandmother. We made 11 cards. After stamping, we went to eat lunch with the stamping group. Then we went to her house and we watched tv and ate a watermelon. Monday I played in a golf tournament in Austin at Onion Creek. I came in second place. It was fun!

ReplyDeleteThe past two weeks I was on vaction to Montana. I had an outstanding time! We stayed in Whitefish, Montana on Whitefish Lake. Our friends grandparents have a house there, so we stayed in it with them. While we were there we went to Canada. When we were in Canada, we stayed at Farmont Hot Springs. We stayed in something almost like a motel but there was
ReplyDeletea big front yard to share with other people, so us kids would play in the yard. When we went someplace we always rode in this one big old suburban. So when it was time to leave I was sad then we set of on our journey back home.
In the past week I went to New Mexico with my family and our next door neighbors. I went there in a car it took about 10 hours to get there. I went swimming in the hotel I stayed in. I went hiking up a mountain that was very steep. I also went fishing I caught nothing I even had to bait my neighbors hook with a live slimy worm.
ReplyDeleteToday, was my first day at T Bar M camp. I was so excited ! I went with my friend Kinslee. My team name is Seabrook. My coaches names are Kelly and Ashton and they are very nice. The first thing that we did was play in the gym. We played Little Sally Walker and tag.Then, we went to put our things away and went to play a scavenger hunt game and met Mr. and Ms. Alpha. After that, we saw a skit. It was really funny. Then we went to Bible study and learned about Jesus. Next, we went to play on the tree houses and played mini golf. And then we went to eat lunch. We ate chicken nuggets,macaroni, and cake for dessert. Next we went to W.O.G (Women Of God) and had a dance party. Then, (my favorite part) SWIMMING!!! I went down a big water slide and it was really fast! After swimming we went on a bigger water slide! It was the steepest and fastest slide ever! After the slide, we went to the big room where we saw a skit and another dance party and then we went home. It was the best day at T bar M!
ReplyDeleteToday was the second day at T Bar M. Our theme today was Escape to Africa. They wanted us to come dressed as a wild animal. I was a cheetah. For lunch we had fried chicken sandwiches and ice cream. We went swimming and I did the blob. The blob is a giant water pillow that you jump on from a high dive and someone blobs you off. Thats another great day at T Bar M.
ReplyDeleteToday was the first day of TBarM Camp. I'm really excited for this year, I went last year and now I'm back. The first thing we do is get in our groups, then we play in the gym. After that we head to the outback. In the outback, there is a field, soccer arena, fort swing, blob pool and Oaks Theatre. Next we go to bible study and it's called Batter's Box. Then we head to lunch. After lunch all the boys went to MACs (Men after Christ). Finally, it was time to hit the pool. I had a great day!
ReplyDeleteToday was the third day at T Bar M camp. The theme was college game day and I was an Aggie. We played squirrel ball and I won against the boys. We had pizza for lunch. And we went swimming and I did the blob. It was a great day at T Bar M camp.
ReplyDeleteToday I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. My family and close friends came too. I went on the log ride, the boomerang, the power surge, and some baby rides too but they were fun.The boomerang was my favorite ride. I wanted to go on superman but I was too short. I had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteToday I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. We went with our friends, the Melotts and the first ride we went on was the log ride. Next, we went to bumper cars two times. We did the log ride again then the Melotts went home. We stayed and went on Scooby Doo's Ghastly Manor.

ReplyDeleteTonight I am going to a Rangers Baseball Game. My friends dad is a singer Josh Grider. He will be singing the National Anthem. They just moved here from Nashville and have two boys one is Joshua and will be going to Seele in the fall and the other one is Evan. He's a new born. The Griders live in our neighborhood. we are going to sit in a sweet. I can't wait to go!

ReplyDeleteToday I woke up early to go to my dad's office. First I got snacks from our house to bring with me. Then I picked out movies to watch. Then I crushed my dad at foosball. Then I watched some of a movie. That was the first part of my day.
ReplyDeleteToday I went to my grandmothers house. My cousin was over there we played upstairs. Tonight I am going to dance pratice for 2 hours. After dance I am going to orange leaf. Then I am going to come home and feed my dog.
ReplyDeleteToday I was on vacation in Jamaica. In the morning my family drank coconut water out of a freshly picked coconut, and tried a sea grape. I didn't like the coconut water but the sea grape was good. We got on our bathing suits and swam the whole morning. My favorite thing to do in the pool is play volleyball. In the afternoon we went to Dolphin Lagoon and swam with dolphins. It's really cool! You get to pet the dolphins, the dolphins give you a ride, dance with you, sing with you, and do tricks. After that we got an ice cream and went to the beach. We walked on the rocks and saw, sea urchins, hermit crabs, and snails with beautiful shells. We also saw unique creatures attached to rocks. When we got home we played cards then watched the movie Zapped. I had a fun day.
ReplyDeleteToday I went floating the Comal River. The water was very cold. We went down the chute and through the rapids. The river was very crowded with lots of tourists and loud music. The entire float took about three hours.
ReplyDeleteOn Saturday, my sister and I went to a sleepover at our friend Lillee and Eliot's house for Lillee's Birthday Party. We put our stuff down and played with their yoga ball then, our friend Helen and Lilli came. We played apples to apples jr. After the game we ate dinner, ice cream and cookies. We had a glow in the dark dance party. We then opened gifts and watched a movie. At 1:00am a dog, which they were dog sitting for, got out. We all went looking for her and someone finally found her at an apartment complex next door.
ReplyDeleteOn Sunday, we played all day at their house. We played with Monster High Dolls, LaLaloopsy, a dollhouse and Lego’s. Later that evening, we went bowling at Hill Country Lanes. I was awesome! I won the forth round and my sister won the last round. The bowling ally was dark and my shoes and socks were glowing. It was a great birthday party and I hope to have another one like that soon.
Today we were going on a vacation to Tennessee to see my great grandparents. I was so excited! It was a really long drive over 10 hours. In the car we watched movies and I played with my mini loom. When we got there, we ate at a pizza pasta place for dinner. I got spaghetti and meatballs. After that, we went to our condo and went to bed. We stayed for three days. My favorite part was the mountain hike, although we lost the camera shade because it rolled off the cliff. It was so much fun!

Today I went to the beach. When we got to the beach we searched for hermit crabs, made a habitat for them, then played hermit crab soccer and had hermit crab races.The waves were big and good for boogie boarding, which I did most of the time. Boogie boarding was really fun! Next, we swam at the pool at the condo complex. At night we went to the dock to go crabbing, and caught a ton of crabs using slimy chicken necks. We caught a big blue crab and 8 rock crabs.
ReplyDeleteToday we went to church first thing in the morning and I sat with my friends. After church, we went to my Nana's house for lunch to celebrate my Papa's and dad's birthday.We had beef, potatoes, beans and rice for lunch. For dessert, I had chocolate cake. It was so fun!
