How does your family celebrate the Fourth of July holiday?  Do you have any traditions, any plans, any hopes?

  1. I Love to celebrate Fourth of July. I first go swimming. In the pool we like to play games like Marco Polo and volleyball without a net. Other things We like to do are try to flip in a tube, push our dad in,and try to catch our dad. For dinner we have a BBQ. After dinner we go down to Seele and wait for the fireworks to start. While we're waiting we like to read play with a frisbee and play card games. That is how I like to spend my Fourth of July.

  2. The Fourth of July was fun. We invited some friends over to our house. We played street soccer and frisbee.
When that was over we found a good spot to sit to watch the fireworks. While we were waiting the
kids raced, played tag and ate poprock popcorn and fruit kabobs . Then the fireworks started and we all sat and watched the amazing light show. It was a great night.
That is how is spent my Fourth of July.

  3. On the Fourth of July my family and I were in Whitefish, Montana! We had an outstanding time. My friends family and my family stayed in a house on Whitefish Lake. The house had a long dock that the kids liked to play on. The city put out a barge to shoot fireworks off of. It gets dark about 10:30, so we had to wait that late to watch the real show. Lots of people who lived around the lake shot off fireworks. We watched fireworks for over an hour! The weather was cool. We bundled up in blankets at the end of the dock and watched all of the fireworks. After the barge shot off fireworks, it caught on fire. That fireworks show was the best I will ever see!

  5. Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! It's when all of my neighborhood friends get together. All the kids play in the yard until everyone is at the party and then we eat. Hot dogs are what we usually serve on the 4th of July, they're good and everyone loves them. When it gets dark we head down to my neighbors house to watch the fireworks. I love the new fireworks this year like the heart, the smiley face, and Saturn. I also like some of the regular fireworks like the one that sent out a blast of sparks. After we come home we set off our own fireworks, but only the ones that stay on the ground. We did the Black Cobra which grows, Smoke Bombs which smoke color, a really bright strobe firework (too bright to even look at), and a bunch of other fireworks that spin around on the ground. After we do all the fireworks we do sparklers which are really fun. We all like spelling our names with them and just swirling them around in the dark.
That was my fun Fourth of July night.

  6. I had an awesome 4th of July. It all started when we woke up. We got dressed and played outside. My brother and I rode our bikes, played basketball and threw the baseball. Then, in the afternoon we went over to my Grandpas and Grandmas house for Hot Dogs and Homemade ice cream, it was Yummy! I got to play with my Cousins, Aunts and Uncles at my Grandpa and Grandmas house, it was sure good to see the whole family together, we have a BIG family and lot of fun. When it got dark some of us sat on the deck and the rest of us sat on the lawn and watched the firework. They were Awesome. Once all the festivities were over, we all went home and went to bed.
